Challenges: ALE remains focused on vocational training and education
CSO’s focus areas for 2022 will be media literacy, environmental heritage, civil democracy, and promotion of adult learning. CSO is advocating for a better representation and visibility of adult learning and urges the government to include ALE in the national financial plan. Adult education remains focused on vocational training and education, while other areas are overlooked. According to our member organization, civil society is rarely consulted in design of ALE policies.
Currently, CSO is considering a plan to promote sustainability in its organisation and activities. They note that the implementation of Sustainable Development Goals varies a lot in the sector.
CSO is taking part in the activities of UNESCO CONFINTEA VII conference, but will not take part in the national delegation.
